Self-guided tour VISIT THE CITÉ UNDER YOUR OWN STEAM
Tourism professionals: please enquire
Your group is greeted by a host who presents the Cité du Chocolat, so you can get your bearings and understand the various areas and exhibits. You then visit the Cité under your own steam.
Progressing at your own pace, learn about chocolate tasting, find out about the ingredients that go into chocolate, learn all about the world of cocoa and the farmers’ how-how, get a virtual backstage peek at how cocoa becomes chocolate, with factory staff explaining each stage, etc.
New for 2017: a mini production line for artisanal chocolates, a café for a highly original all-chocolate experience, and new exhibits on the know-how of chocolate artisans and on Valrhona’s history.

The Comptoir Porcelana While visiting the Cité du Chocolat, pop into The Comptoir Porcelana, our self-service café!
Take a mouth-watering break to enjoy an unbeatable dessert, snack or hot chocolate. Or more surprisingly, and perhaps for the first time, sample a savoury chocolate dish.
Going further than traditional recipes that use chocolate to bind sauces, the creations served at Le Comptoir Porcelana subtly blend chocolate or cocoa with meat, fish or vegetables to offer first-time taste sensations. This self-service café is operated in an eco-friendly way. An all-chocolate experience to melt your heart!
