The Cité du Chocolat Valrhona is first and foremost an interactive, multi-sensory tour. Educational and fun, it will enable you to learn more about the secrets of chocolate so that you can enjoy it even better. The Cité offers a range of events to help you develop your knowledge of chocolate. It's a great opportunity to learn more about a particular skill or technique in a practical, friendly way... Tasting included, of course!
At weekends and during school holidays, you can enhance your visit with our discovery workshops.
The coating workshop: you can follow the progress of a chocolate on a mini production line, right through to the final coating and the chocolates ready for tasting.
Flash animations: lasting 15-20 minutes, our animators will offer you quizzes and cabosse flashes.

Taste and its mysteries: discover one of our most complex senses through a series of fun and tasty chocolate experiments.

The Cité du Chocolat Valrhona is delighted to welcome the exhibition dedicated to Super Jean-Jean, a touching story imagined by Fabrice Colin and illustrated by Adrien Mangournet.
This unusual superhero, with his big heart and dream of making the world a better place, invites us to rethink the generosity, poetry and kindness that lie dormant in all of us.
Through vibrant illustrations and stories imbued with tenderness,
Super Jean-Jean shows that each of us has the power to help, to dream, and to believe in ourselves.
We hope to inspire young visitors to believe in their own superpowers: generosity, imagination and self-confidence.
Because here at the Cité, every child is a hero in the making.

Thanks to the support of Valrhona and other local companies, Célia, a young girl with type 1 diabetes, received her assistance dog, Roxy,
in April 2023.
This unique exhibition introduces you to the Acadia association.
Its role is to train dogs specifically trained to detect blood sugar levels, offering vital support to children with type 1 diabetes.
